  1. Beauty and truth two things that go together so well.

  2. You know very well that members of both parties are guilty of double standards - they protect their own. Anyone holding national office should be held to a higher standard because they are role models for our youth. Media personalities are also role models - I do not appreciate the sarcasm and mean spirited commentary. By condemning Santorum's "sanctimonious" attitude, you are being "sanctimonious" because you are saying..."I would never be guilty of Santorum's sin." The media's role should be to lay out facts and leave the sarcastic commentary alone. It makes you look bad - not admirable.

Now how many members was it of the Democratic Party who told Weiner to step down? Quite a few, wasn't it?

Vs. the number of members of the Republic Party who told Vitters and Ensign, who REALLY HAD extra-martial relations over and over AND got themselves into ethical hot water trying to effect a cover-up, to step down? Apparently not Santorum.

Lastly, Rachel Maddow isn't a news anchor, but IS a commentator and a finely tuned hypocracy-detector.
